Welcome to the Health Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.

We are a diverse section of the Oregon bar with members that represent health care professionals, hospitals, insurers, trade associations, businesses, non-profit organizations, state and federal agencies, patients, and consumers. Our goal for this website is to provide the Oregon health law practitioner with information about the Section structure, our activities, targeted updates on Oregon health law issues, and an easy way to communicate with Section leaders and staff.

We are always open to hearing ways to make this website more useful to Oregon lawyers who practice health care law. To submit comments or suggestions for improvements, please contact the Health Law Section Website Committee.

Save the Date for Annual Meeting: Friday October 7, 2011 (June 27, 2011)

The Health Law Section's annual meeting and CLE will be held on Friday October 7, 2011 at the Oregon Medical Association offices. More details and a program will be released later here.

Next Executive Committee Meeting Scheduled for July 21, 2011 (June 27, 2011)

The next meeting of the executive committee of the Health Law Section is scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on July 21, 2011 at the offices of the Oregon State Bar. Any members interested in learning more about the section are welcome to attend.

Legislature Moves Bill Forward to Transform Oregon's Medicaid Program (June 27, 2011)
